The original manuscript of his history, I believe, is preserved in the Advocat<\/i>es <i>Library in Edingburgh. This history was published at Oxford, by that laborious antiquary, Thomas Hearne<\/i>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<b>Walter de Hemingford<\/b> (sometimes called <b>Hemingburgh<\/b>) died in Gisbro&#8217; in 1347. He was Canon of Gisbro&#8217; Priory when it was burnt in 1289.
