They later developed into a full band <b>Just Jake<\/b> and <b>Ottoman.<\/b><br \/>\nincorporating members of <\/p>\n<p>We covered this band in Hobo Magazine &#8211;<\/p>\n<p>\n<b>From Hobo 1973<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Another band to emerge (bearing some connection to <b>Indian Summer<\/b>) is <b>Al Hatton&#8217;s<\/b> band. Al used to play bass for Indian Summer. Al is now playing acoustic guitar with three others known as <b>Trilogy<\/b>. The group have another guitarist and percussionist and make some nice sounds, using original material.&#8221;<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial\"><br \/>\n<b>From Hobo 1974<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>TRILOGY<\/b><br \/>\n&#8220;Who are due to play the <i>Windsor Free Festival<\/i> during the last week of August, are a new band featuring <b>Al Hatton<\/b> (late of <b>Indian Summer<\/b>) on acoustic guitar; <b>Ron Ablewhite<\/b> (Ex. <b>Torqwood<\/b>)  also on guitar and <b>Roy Brewster<\/b> on assorted percussion. All members compose and contribute vocals.&#8221;<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial\"><br \/>\n<b>JOHN WANDERS BACK<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Ex <b>Wandering John<\/b> guitarist &#8211; <b>John Alderson<\/b>, returned from Sandersfoot in Wales, where he was reported to be living in Hobo issue 2. John met up with <b>Trilogy<\/b> &#8211;<\/p>\n<p><b>TRILOGY<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<b>Trilogy<\/b> were also reviewed in issue two. An acoustic band. They are expanding their line up to include keyboard player <b>Martin Barter<\/b> who also sings, <b>Rog Jackson<\/b> on bass, <b>John Alderson<\/b> on lead and slide guitar along with the original members of the trio &#8211; <b>Roy Brewster<\/b> on congas and percussion, <b>Ron Ablewhite<\/b> on acoustic guitar and vocals and <b>Al Hatton<\/b> on acoustic guitar and vocals. They write all their own material which without classifying it too much, is, suffice to say, funky with harmonies. The band appeared recently on <b>Midland&#8217;s Today<\/b> and are entering the <b>Melody Maker<\/b> contest. I caught the original band at the <i>White Bear<\/i> pub in Willenhall Wood recently with blues soloist <b>Mick Stuart<\/b>.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial\"><span style=\"font-size: large\"><b>Ron Abelwhite<\/b> is now an artist operating in Cumbria <\/span>&#8211;&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<h1 style=\"margin: 0px;padding: 16px 0px 4px\">\n<span style=\"font-family: arial\"><br \/>Ron Ablewhite &#8211; Artist Biography<\/span><\/h1>\n<h3>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial\"><span><span style=\"font-weight: normal\"><span style=\"font-size: small\">Ron Ablewhite spent many years in commerce and advertising in the Coventry area, painting on a part-time basis, before moving to Cumbria in 1993 when he became a professional artist. He created and developed the \u201cCollectables Range\u201d, a unique portfolio of over 60 limited edition prints of scenes in Cumbria and the Lake District.
