The name of the addressee can be seen on the envelope here and I think the date is 1921, looking at the stamp. The name may be Tivnann, as there is another much later letter from a Tivnann of Thornaby.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nInside the envelope are 2 small cuttings of which this is the first – about the Timothy Hackworth Memorial.<\/span><\/div>\n

\nThe second is memorial notice in the paper to Albert Ernest Hackworth (Bert) who, sadly dies unmarried at the age of 35 – son of the late Albert and Esther Hackworth of Thornaby on tees. He was their only son. I’m assuming this was about or sometime before 1921.<\/span><\/div>\n
