In May 1987 Richard Briddon<\/b> (then studying Humanities at Teesside Poly<\/i>) organised a Children’s poetry competition for the NSPCC <\/i>as part of  Entertaining Hope<\/i>. It was judged by Literature staff at the Poly- Sue Reid, Bruce Ingraham<\/b>. Richard Briddon was also co-organising the Middlesbrough Writers Workshop<\/i> at the Poly and became involved in Outlet \/ Write Around<\/i> before launching Paranoia Press<\/i>.
