BY A COOL STREAM

By a cool stream
I found my love.
To an oak tree
I took my love.
Beside the beach
we heard the ocean screech.
And our hearts couldn’t reach
with the strain on the plain.
“Get out the way”
I heard a whale say.
And I was floored in the sand
The ocean roared and I held the hand
of a very strange fairy
who took me to that old oak tree
where we remained in perfect harmony.
She gave herself to me,
we’ve now an elf you see.
And by a cool stream
I found my first dream
But underneath all the cream
lay the milk, destined to wilt.
But a new dream was quickly built
And I’m so happy to be a pappy
to a heaven I took my love
and we flew there with Noah’s dove.
