\nShe came in on the ebb and the flow,<\/span>
\nAs I stood alone, cold on the sand.<\/span>
\nWhen I least expected this gift<\/span>
\nShe came and took my hand.<\/span>
\nShe melted the shell of my heart,<\/span>
\nFreedom’s child, seagulled winged, so loving.<\/span>
\nI respected her freedom from the start.<\/span>
\nNow it seems to be the way, she’s gone.<\/span>
\nShe’s gone to the ebb and the flow.<\/span>
\n

\nShe came in on the ebb and the flow<\/span>
\nStanding alone, cold on the sand.<\/span>
\nMy heart was glad, but then without<\/span>
\nwarning a strange vibration made it’s stand.<\/span>
\nher time it was harder to find<\/span>
\nand her kisses they grew less.<\/span>
\nDeep in my heart of hearts i still need her.<\/span>
\nThis I must confess.<\/span>
\nBut it seems her time has come to go.<\/span>
\nwith the ebb and the flow.<\/span>

\nSorrow is filling my heart with stone<\/span>
\nWishing i could take her hand.<\/span>
\nTrying my best, I must have gone wrong,<\/span>

\nBut something is wrong when we no longer smile.<\/span>
\nI wish we could talk it all out<\/span>
\nbut it’s the way, I’m sorry to say.<\/span>
